Co. deed R p 409,July 17, 1827. Wm Fambrough, heir of Stewart Fambrough, dec'd sold to Orman Simpkins for $303.50 the four tracts of land which were granted By Tenn. to Stewart Fambrough.

The original will paper is also on file and it was from the original sheets that this record was made. This is a digest and not a verbatim copy. I leave and bequeath to my beloved wife Susannah, the lands and stock for her use and for the benefit of raising my children or if she marries then only a childs part --- to son, William Fambrough, at age 21 to recieve all of my landed estate --- to daughter Jennyh W. Fambrough when she becomes of age to receive an equal childs part of the interest on moneys out at interest, and the balance to be divided to each of my children, as they become of age. Wife Susannah, Rogert heaton and Samuel Weakley, Executors. The will was dated April 6, 1816 and recorded June 15, 1816. Signed Stewart Farmgrough Witnesses: Robert Fambroughj Hannah Fambrough."
